Marching Band Members and Families,

Here is the information for camp for the next two weeks as well as some updates to the schedule.

The times for band camp, just incase anyone has forgotten, is 9am to 5pm.  Please arrive early so that you are ready to start on the field at 9am.  Students should be dropped off and picked up on the Main Street side of the building at door 5E.  Students who are driving to camp should park in the parking lot North of 12th street and can enter the building on the West side at 11W.  There is a lot of construction happening so we are going to avoid the main building.  We will be dismissed around 4:40 each day so students should be picked up by 5 at the latest.
Students need to bring a lunch.  Students may not leave campus to get lunch.  Students will be able to keep their lunch inside in the band room where the A/C is on full blast.  There is no  microwave or fridge available so please plan accordingly.
Here is the list of what students will need for band camp:
Instrument, Sticks, Mallets, Guard Equipment 
Tennis Shoes Must have an arch no flat soles (Students will not be allowed to participate if they are wearing sandals or flip flops)
Athletic Clothing (No jeans, students must be able to move comfortably and stay cool.  Appropriate dress is required at all times.  Tank tops must be have an inch or wider strap, no midriffs may be shown, no cut out shirts that expose skin.)
Students in the Wind Section will need White T-Shirts for Ensemble (You will be given time to change and these will be needed by the 2nd week of camp)
Insulated Water Bottle half gallon or larger (Make sure to drink lots of water, avoid sugary drinks)
Bug Spray
Hat (Wind Section members should have a hat or visor that keeps the sun from burning their lips.)
Percussion and Wind Section should have their music in plastic page protectors in a three ring binder
Two mechanical pencils
Cloth Nail pouch (You will need this by the second week and your section leader will help you figure out what they are) Winds, Battery, Guard
7 Drill Markers (You will need this by the second week and your section leader will help you figure out what they are) Winds, Battery, Guard
Dot Book (3x5 spiral bound note cards 50 count, You must have this by Wednesday and your section leader will help you figure out what they are) Winds, Battery, Guard

Please note that the location for the car wash has changed and there is no longer rehearsal on Thursday, August 18th.
