Color Guard News 6/23
Optional Practices in July!
There are going to be 3 optional practices in July. They are not
required, so if your family is on vacation or you have plans, it
is no problem. If you are able to come I would love to see as
many girls as possible at these practices. During these
practices we will work on learning rifle technique and flag
tosses. If you borrowed a flag or have a rifle, please bring
them to these practices.
The practices will all be held in the George Marshall Gym at
CHS. The dates and times are:
Tuesday July 1
from 2:30-4:30pm
Tuesday July 8 from
2:30-4:30pm
Tuesday July 15 from
2:30-4:30pm

Color Guard Uniforms
We have chosen tunic style uniforms to wear this year.
The exact cost will be determined when the final colors and
fabrics are chosen. These tunics will be worn with black dance
pants that will also need to be ordered. We will be wearing
black shoes and socks that each girl will be responsible for
getting on her own. The rough cost of the tunic and pants is
$80-$100. I apologize for the cost. On a positive note at the
end of the season you will get to keep and own your uniform. You
also do not have the pay the uniform band fee this year.
I will be contacting everyone soon about sizing and paying
for these uniforms. The uniforms will take 4-8 weeks to get to
us after we order them so it is important that we take care of
this in the summer. If you have any questions please feel free
