Mr. Ted Reicher
Mr. Ted Reicher is the Program Coordinator of The Marching Blue Devils and Director Emeritus of the Davenport Central High School Bands. Mr. Reicher is a composer, arranger and visual designer for bands and drum corps throughout the United States with over 40 original marching compositions and hundreds of visual designs to his credit. Formerly a band director of 21 years, his bands consistently ranked at the top of competitions throughout the Midwest and were competitive on the national level. He is increasingly sought after as a clinician/consultant for marching bands and has a reputation for quickly recognizing and addressing marching, music and visual design issues and implementing solutions. Programs that utilize Mr. Reicher as a regular staff member or consultant have found his techniques free up considerable amounts of rehearsal time and allow for a higher degree of performance excellence from their students. Ted resides in Davenport, IA and is married to his wife Ann. He is also an avid golfer and is always looking for a good game!
Ms. Lianne Beliveau
Ms. Beliveau is the color guard caption head and a choreographer for Davenport Central High School. Ms. Beliveau is also the Director of the Davenport Central Winter Guard. She grew up in Indiana and received her Bachelors of English Education from Purdue University in May 2012. In 2013, Ms. Beliveau moved to Des Moines, Iowa for new career opportunities, where she was also an assistant color guard instructor for Centennial High School before moving to Davenport this past July. Currently, Ms. Beliveau teaches 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at Wood Intermediate.
Ms. Beliveau has experience with flags, rifles, sabres, and dance. In 2008, she performed with Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps on the flag and dance lines . Ms.Beliveau was also a color guard member for Purdue University's All-American Marching Band and Purdue's competitive winter guard program. Additionally, she studied modern and jazz dance in college. She joined the Higher Ground Dance Company at Purdue during the spring of 2012.
When Ms. Beliveau isn't teaching, she enjoys going to the YMCA, reading, and taking trips to Lake Michigan with her family.
Mrs. Laura Wilga
Mrs. Laura Wilga is the front ensemble director and drum major instructor for the Marching Blue Devils. She has been an instructor with The Marching Blue Devils since the fall of 2011. Mrs. Wilga’s marching band background was cemented at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton, Illinois. During her time as a student at WWSHS, the Tiger Marching Band won their class at the State of Illinois Marching Band Championships twice and was a finalist all four years. Mrs. Wilga also has the honor of being a Bands of America Regional Finalist.
Mrs. Wilga graduated Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Art in Education. While at ISU Mrs. Wilga was a percussionist and a member the ISU Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Steve Steele. Mrs. Wilga currently teaches Fifth Grade at Pleasant View Elementary School in Bettendorf, Iowa.
